Rentacrate Expands Senior Management TeamJul 31, 2007
Key New Hires Strengthen Company During Rapid Growth Phase
Waltham, MA—Aug 1, 2007. Rentacrate LLC, a leading provider of Sustainable Moving Equipment and environmentally friendly Secure Document Destruction and Electronic Recycling Services has announced three key new hires as well as an internal promotion. The four new members of the Senior Management Team will help Rentacrate to continue their plans of aggressive existing market growth, further geographic expansion and expanded new product/services growth for the latter part of 2007 and beyond.
Roger Post joined Rentacrate as a VP of Business Development. Post brings a wealth of experience in sales and sales development. Previously, Post was an owner and member of the executive team at Allied Office Products and led the Allied sales teams in the efforts of securing national and large local accounts.
Matt Benyo joined Rentacrate as the Regional Manager in the Washington, DC Metro Area. Benyo was previously a district Sales Manager for DHL in Washington, DC and Chicago.
Vern Martell joined Rentacrate as the Regional Manager of the Southeast. Prior to joining Rentacrate, Martell had just completed the sale of his record storage and shredding company in the Charlotte, NC area.
Bob Schecterson has been officially promoted to the position of Regional Manager for New York and New Jersey. While Schecterson has been performing this function informally to date, the notice made by Rentacrate makes it official. Schecterson joined Rentacrate earlier this year and since then has made considerable strides in the development of business in this market.
Rentacrate Executive VP of Sales, Joe Aiello commented on each of the hires. “Roger's widespread base of contacts will certainly be a driver for Rentacrate to gain entree into large national account opportunities” said Aiello. “Matt brings market knowledge, an aggressive style and sales management experience to the DC market. Vern’s ownership experience, market knowledge and business relationships in the Southeast region have allowed us to move up our target to open the Charlotte market with someone intimately familiar with the area.” Aiello also commented that “Having worked with Bob Schecterson for many years in the past, his experiences in management, sales and relationship building will certainly be key assets in moving Rentacrate forward to the next levels.”
“These additions, while meaningful on their own, will also give us the ability to be more focused and productive in our other areas” said Howard Brown, Rentacrate CEO. “When combined with the strengths of our existing team, we believe that Rentacrate will be better positioned to continue with our aggressive growth plan.”
